INVITATION FOR BIDS

NRFA/ORD/17/11:   TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLES

The National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) in its 2012 operational budget had made a provision for the procurement of capital equipment.  It was intended that part of the proceeds of these funds could be applied to eligible payments under the Contract for the Supply and Delivery of Motor Vehicles.

The National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) now invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and Delivery of new one (01 No.) 4 x 4 Station Wagon and two (02 No.) 4 x 4 Double Cab  Motor Vehicles.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all eligible bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from NRFA, Procurement Section and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 08:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs during working days.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K500, 000.00 or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash or Bank certified cheque. The telefax number is +260 01 252731. HOWEVER, TELEFAX OFFERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

The bids should be appropriately bound, sealed and bold labeled “Tender No. NRFA/01/12:   Supply and Delivery of Motor Vehicles” and deposited in the Tender Box situated on 1st Floor, National Road Fund House at the National Road Fund Agency, 33 Fairley Road, Ridgeway, Lusaka on or before Friday, 13^th  July 2012 at 14:30hrs. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on Friday 13^th July 2012 at 14:30hrs in the NRFA Boardroom, 33 Fairley Road, Ridgeway, Lusaka.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of Bid Price in a freely convertible currency duly signed and sealed by the Guarantor(s).
